Awesome. Driving down to St George Island in 3 weeks. Paid $12,000 for a non refundable house for 2 weeks. We always pay for the house and invite family down for 2 weeks. Just found out that 5 family members can't go now, because if they leave the state they would have to self quarantine for 14 days upon return and they don't have that much vacation. We now have a 5 bedroom house for 5 people. As long as the liquor store in East Pointe is open and the fresh seafood truck shows up every day on the island, I should be OK.
It's Official. As of 6:00 tonight nobody is allowed on Fort Myers Beach. Not visitors, not homeowners, nobody. You face up to a $5,000 fine if you get caught on the beach. Councilwoman Rexann Hosafras voted against the motion because she believed the vote trampled on the right's of people to walk on the beach.<o

it should have been you can’t be on the beach within 6 feet of another person
so what about people going to Walmart to buy TP? Is that banned.
IMO, telling a local he can’t take his dog for a walk on the beach and staying away from others is flat out an overreaction...
